With a long history of working on guidance and control algorithms for manned and unmanned vehicles performing work for Draper Labs, Raytheon and Martin Marietta; Maine Aerospace has partnered with CrossRate to develop the integration of eLoran and GPS information in the CrossRate receiver.
A state funded, private non-profit organization, the Maine Technology Institute (MTI) offers early-stage, patient capital and commercialization assistance for the research and development of innovative, technology based projects that create new products and services, generating jobs in the state of Maine. MTI has been very supportive of CrossRate through two Development Awards and two Seed Grants totaling over $550k.
Maine's Venture Capital Fund
The SEGF was created by an act of the Maine Legislature in 1995 to provide Maine companies and entrepreneurs access to patient sources of venture capital. The fund is a $9 million dollar revolving, “evergreen” fund. The SEGF is a professionally managed venture capital fund that invests exclusively in Maine companies that demonstrate a potential for high growth and public benefit.
